TD4 150 manuelle

  1. 2.0 Ingenium diesel timing chain

    Severity 3/3 · Serious

On early 2.0 Ingenium diesels (mainly before 2019), the chain can stretch and the tensioner can wear out: cold rattle, camshaft correlation fault codes and, if the chain breaks, major engine damage. Oil dilution from particulate filter regenerations and extended oil change intervals are cited as aggravating factors. These guides partly come from parts sellers; no manufacturer recall was found for this fault.
