RX 350h

  1. 12 V battery that discharges

    Severity 1/3 · Annoying

For the 2023 RX 350h, the first category of complaints recorded by CarComplaints is electrical, led by a flat battery after a period of immobilisation; Auto Reliability Index also cites the 12 V battery as the most frequent problem with hybrids. Owner testimonies, mostly North American: no manufacturer confirmation in the sources consulted.

RX 450h+ Plug-in

  1. Recall: poorly soldered front camera housings

    Manufacturer recall

French campaign 24SD-065 (around 1,868 cars): on part of the 2022-2023 production, including RX 450h+ and 500h, the front camera housings may have been poorly soldered; water can get in over time and cause a short circuit. The network checks the soldering and replaces the camera and its housing if necessary. Check the serial number with a Lexus dealership.

Fixed free of charge by a dealer and not counted in the reliability score: ask for proof the work was done (invoice, or a VIN check at a dealer).
