NX 350h

  1. Pre-collision camera recall

    Manufacturer recall

Lexus recall covering NX models assembled between 15 April 2021 and 6 March 2023 (2,085 units of the 350h and 450h+ in France): a software fault in the camera can erase its memory when the ignition is off and prevent the pre-collision system from starting at the next start-up. Remedy: reprogramming of the camera in the workshop (about 45 minutes).

Fixed free of charge by a dealer and not counted in the reliability score: ask for proof the work was done (invoice, or a VIN check at a dealer).

  2. Front shock absorber mount welds recall

    Manufacturer recall

Recall (US campaign 22LA02) on 2022 NX models built from April 2021 to January 2022, including the 350h and 450h+: spot welds around the front shock absorber mounts may have been omitted at the factory, which can cause the shock absorber to come loose and affect stability. Inspection and replacement of the panel are free of charge. This recall is documented in the United States: check with a Lexus dealer whether it concerns the serial number of a car sold in France.

Read fault codes

An OBD scanner plugged in under the steering wheel shows stored fault codes, even with warning lights off: useful during the test drive.
