  1. Tremec TR-9080 dual-clutch gearbox: leaks and faults

    Severity 2/3 · Costly

At the end of 2021 GM opened an investigation into the 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox of 2020-2022 Corvettes: leaks (seals), error messages asking the driver to shift to P, and a discharged battery in some cases. GM issued several technical bulletins, including a software update. Most reports come from owner forums, so the real frequency is uncertain.
