Our conclusion
Two well-rated SUVs: 5 Euro NCAP stars for both (2019 for the Captur II, 2017 for the C-HR) and high reliability (5/5 for the Captur, 4.5/5 for the C-HR, due to windscreens that crack and a 12 V battery that discharges). The Captur offers more room (422 L in petrol versions, sliding rear bench, against 377 L for the C-HR 1.8); the C-HR relies on its well-regarded hybrid powertrain. Both are good choices.
