Our conclusion
Both score 5/5 for reliability in our sources. The difference lies in safety: 5 stars at Euro NCAP in 2019 for the Captur II, only 3 for the Duster II. The Duster has a slightly bigger boot (445 L against 422 L) and four-wheel drive in both petrol and diesel versions; the Captur offers a sliding rear bench and hybrid versions. For safety, the Captur; for four-wheel drive, the Duster.
