Our conclusion
The Yaris IV is the more reliable (5/5 against 4.5/5) and, above all, the better protected: 5 stars at Euro NCAP in 2020, against 2 for the Sandero III in 2021. It is sold only as a hybrid. The Sandero has a bigger boot (328 L against 286 L) and simple mechanicals in petrol or LPG (ECO-G) form. For safety, the Yaris; for space, the Sandero.
